Our Story
It all began in Bangkok. Alex saw Far’s photo (yes, that one 👉) and thought she looked like an incredibly goofy girl. Far assumed he was just another Thai guy. They were both wrong, but the match turned out to be absolutely right.
Alex and Far had their first date on Christmas Eve 2023 at Aunglo and instantly connected. Just a month later, they visited Far’s hometown in Phuket and learned to scuba dive. It was the most perfectly fitting skill to learn together as they would soon dive headfirst into a year of long distance between California and Bangkok.
That distance taught them patience, and each reunion felt like a precious dream come true. Through many wonderful trips, time spent with each other’s families and friends, and countless shared adventures, they grew a deep and rare understanding of one other.
In April 2025, Alex and Far traveled to Tokyo to chase the cherry blossoms. What Far didn’t know was that Alex was really there to chase her heart. Under the guise of a couple’s photo shoot in Shinjuku Gyoen, Alex dropped down to his one good knee and proposed. Far said yes! And as if on cue, the clouds cried tears of joy in harmony with her own.
